First, you will have to walk them through the entire procedure, how you will proceed, what risks will there be, etc. Some patients will be undoubtedly scared, so you will have to be a bit tactile and reassure them that nothing will go wrong.

When your patients get on the MRI scanner, you will also have to adjust your patients’ lying position in order that you could get the best results from the MRI. A bad position will produce blurred pictures, and you will have to restart the entire process again from scratch to get a better one.

Afterwards, you will have to sit down and talk to the patients about their results. It’s important that you do not make any diagnosis. That’s the doctor’s job.
