As you might already know by now, you can get CE credits for ARRT online or by attending seminars or lectures in-person. ARRT requires you to submit 24 credits every 2 years. Where you get these credits is up to you. You can get all 24 from online courses, or you can do a little of both. It’s all up to you.
Certain criteria have to be met for something to qualify as one of your CE credits for ARRT. These criteria are usually fulfilled by those who create online courses like us here at Pulse Radiology as well as those who organize in-person courses.
How to Get Online CE credits for ARRT
Online courses are becoming increasingly popular. Many radiology techs don’t have the time to attend things in-person or stick to a fixed schedule. Taking an online course overcomes both of these issues.
You can take online courses at your own pace. For example, if you’re busy all week then you can work on them over the weekend for a couple of hours in the morning. Alternatively, you can spend 30 minutes on them each day.
At Pulse Radiology, we offer online courses that’ll provide you with the credits you need while being fun and informative at the same time. Our courses are setup by radiology experts and are always up to date with all that’s new in the field.
We also have an attractive way of presenting information. We know that poorly displayed information can be impossible to keep up with. The way we like to display our courses makes you interested in going on and reading more.
Going to Lectures, Seminars, and Courses
You’ll find lectures and courses to attend in-person all year long. You can find something that fits your schedule and attend it, but that might not happen often.
The main issue with attending in-person is the conflicting schedules. You might not be able to take time off during the course you’re interested in attending. Alternatively, if you can take time off, you’re going to have a great time.
Attending these courses in-person can be a lot of fun. You’ll usually have to travel to a new city or state to take the course which means you’ll get to experience a new environment. Plus, you only have to attend lectures in the morning which means that the rest of the day is yours to spend however you want.
Some radiology techs like to go to these courses because they’re a change from what they’re used to. Radiology techs spend almost all their time working with computers and technology. Disconnecting can be fun.
You don’t have to stick to a certain method of acquiring CE credits for ARRT. You can try both and see what you like best. Alternatively, you can switch between them. When you can take time off to go attend a course then you can do that. Alternatively, if your schedule is really busy then you can just do online courses.
