The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) has certain specifications for CT training and those wishing to become CT radiology techs. At Pulse Radiology, we created an online 14-week program that meets all of these specifications to help you with your training and assist you with the transition from a radiology tech to a CT expert.

Our program at Pulse Radiology isn’t just online. We also have clinical training included to get you familiar with using CT scans and interacting with patients who need them. You can get this clinical training at different states. If it’s not available in your state, get in touch with us so we can find a solution for you. Our online CT training program is worth 29 category A ASRT credits.

Pulse Radiology’s CT Training Program

Computer Tomography is commonly referred to as a CT scan or CAT scan. It’s considered a very powerful and magnified x-ray machine. It’s used by doctors for a better view of tissues and organs to allow accurate diagnosis of different diseases. It goes without saying that the images provided by a CT are more detailed than those acquired through an x-ray or ultrasound.

Doctors ask for CT scans for the diagnosis of conditions that affect different parts of the body. They’re very useful in diagnosing strokes, internal bleeding, tumors, bone conditions, and damage to tissue. CTs are also heavily relied on in the acute setting like for trauma patients or those visiting the emergency room.

Radiology techs looking to make the transition to become certified CT technologists would benefit greatly from our 14-week online CT training program here at Pulse Radiology. It’s important to mention that the training program is approved by and lives up to the specifications of the ARRT. You’ll have access to 11 CT video modules and 11 presentations that you can download and print. Practice questions that resemble those used by the ARRT are also included to help you prepare and work on your test-taking skills.

Additionally, you’ll have access to a midterm exam consisting of 100 ARRT style questions and a mock ARRT registry test for those looking to become CT technologists. After you submit the exams, you’ll get your scores and be able to review the questions and their explanations. This can help you identify your weak spots.

At Pulse Radiology, our program isn’t just about online training, but clinical training too. You’ll have access to a workbook to assist you with your clinical training and you’ll have the contact info of a course coordinator who can help with anything you might need. You’re free to take your clinical training at any of our affiliate locations. If you live in a state where we don’t have any locations, give us a call so we can figure something out regarding your clinical training.

Pulse Radiology will continue to be there for you after your certification and training are complete through its job placement services. We’ve helped many CT techs find jobs.
