MRI Technician Training
MRI technician and MRI technologist are interchangeable terms referring to the same thing: someone who is an expert in MRIs and knows how to operate them. MRIs are frequently required by physicians to aid in making diagnoses by taking accurate radiologic images of different organs in the body. At Pulse Radiology, we have an online MRI certification program to help you with the requirements you need for certification. Our program also includes clinical training.
Our 14 Week MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Certificate Program
Our MRI certification program is 14-weeks long. It contains all the requirements and specifications outline by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) to help you pass you certification requirements. What’s so great about our program is that it has an online aspect and a clinical training aspect. Our clinical training can be completed in over 5 states and we’re constantly working on expanding our reach.
The online portion of the program is approved by the ARRT for structured education. It includes different learning tools that include videos, slides, and others. You’ll have access to 11 slides which you can download and even print for easy access. There are 11 video modules about MRIs that you can take at your own pace and time too. If you’re interested in bonuses, we provide weekly tests and tutorials so you can broaden your horizons.
When it comes to improving your test taking skills, we have plans to help with that too. You’ll have access to one mock ARRT MRI registry test which is complimentary with the program and doesn’t come at an additional cost. Over 1,000 questions simulating the MRI registry test are also available for review.
Throughout your training, you’ll get one midterm test that closely resembles ARRT tests. Any tests and questions you submit will be automatically reviewed so you can get your scores as soon as possible. You can review the tests you take after submitting them so you can learn from your mistakes and read answer explanations.
Our MRI certification program isn’t just online, but clinical training comes with it too. You can get your training in New York, New Jersey, Arizona, Maryland, and Rochester. If you don’t live in one of these states then contact us and we’ll make the necessary arrangements to help you get your clinical training in your state. A clinical workbook to help you with the training will be available for download and printing. A clinical coordinator will be assigned to you to help you with the training.
You can view our entire curriculum online if you wish to prepare ahead. The program is divided into weeks with each week focusing on a certain topic that will be part of your job as an MRI technologist. Each chapter has an ARRT standardized test at the end of it to make sure you fully comprehend the information provided and to help you identify your weak spots.
After you meet your qualifications, we can also help you with job placement. At Pulse Radiology, we have everything you need for a successful career.
